Machine Engineering and Construction
Graepel safety gratings can be used in a variety of fields in machine engineering and construction. Depending on the machine type and design, platforms, stairways, ladders and catwalks can be used. The gratings can also be used to cover machine parts.
The material and perforation are selected according to the intended use. Graepel offers 17 different perforations varying in slip resistance and drainage. The diversity ranges from closed surfaces with a rather small degree of slip resistance to heavily profiled gratings with an open area of up to 80 percent, high slip resistance and an almost unobstructed view-through. Steel with various surface finishes, aluminum and stainless steel in various material thicknesses can be selected from.
