Graepel News
On October 30 and 31, Graepel was represented at Architect@Work in Amsterdam – one of the most exciting meeting places for innovation, design, and architecture.
This year, Graepel‘s trade fair presentation focused on a particularly topical theme:
Metal profile gratings as sustainable facade elements. Graepel presented new approaches for the architectural use of these durable, functional, and aesthetic components with a special focus on their ecological dimension. The sheet metal profile gratings from Graepel impress with their robustness, versatility, and 100% recyclability. They offer a sustainable alternative to classic facade materials such as wood or plastic.
Thanks to a variety of materials – from steel to stainless steel to aluminum – as well as a wide range of surfaces and profiles, they open up new design possibilities.
Their structure also allows for targeted control of transparency, light incidence, and air circulation, and provides sun protection and mechanical safety.
In addition, Graepel is increasingly relying on recycled or “green” steel in our production. According to Graepel, this can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 58%, water consumption by 40% and air pollution by 86% – an important step towards sustainable architecture.
We look back with enthusiasm on numerous inspiring conversations, new contacts, and fresh ideas that will stay with us beyond the trade fair.
The exchange with architects, designers, and partners has once again shown us how important personal encounters are.
After our successful appearance in Amsterdam, we are now looking forward to the next stop:
Architect@Work Düsseldorf (December 3–4, 2025) and Rotterdam 2026.
