Graepel News

A strong signal for reliability and quality: Graepel was again honored with the Supplier Performance Award ‘Leader’ from DAF Trucks for the year 2024. At the same time, PACCAR, DAF's parent company, awarded its long-standing supplier Graepel the 10 PPM quality standard. The award is given to suppliers who have fewer than ten non-conforming parts per million components delivered. Graepel even reached the zero-part defect mark during this period.
The repeated classification of Graepel in the supplier category ‘Leader’ confirms the excellent performance of the globally active family business from Lower Saxony, Germany in the areas of quality, delivery performance, innovation and costs. Together with the 10 PPM award, this underlines the close, partnership-based cooperation with one of the world's leading commercial vehicle manufacturers.
Thorsten Kantelberg, Head of Sales at Graepel's Löningen site, accepted the Supplier Award at the DAF SPM Recognition Event 2025 at the DAF headquarters in Eindhoven. ‘The repeated award is a confirmation for us and at the same time an incentive to consistently continue on our current path - together with our customers and partners,’ says Kantelberg.
Graepel has been supplying DAF with custom-developed components and assemblies for their commercial vehicles for decades. In close cooperation with the customer, innovative solutions for optimized function and safety are created time and time again.
