Graepel-Perl
The edged contour of the Graepel-Perl has a C profile. The surface is closed. The name is derived from the pearl-shaped, semi-spherical, upward-facing embossment. The embossments are arranged in staggered rows and have a diameter of 5 mm. This type of perforation has a certain degree of slip resistance and displacement, however, drainage is not provided. For program-controlled gratings, the maximum embossed field is 475 mm wide, and for embossed field that are not program-controlled the width is 625 mm.
Graepel gratings with Graepel-Perl perforation are particularly well-suited as covering for surfaces and platforms in public and industrial areas where closed surfaces are required. Their use is particularly recommended for indoor applications. The Graepel-Perl step is not transparent. The embossment is recommended if it is important that no objects can fall through and if walking in soft shoes should also be possible.
This embossment can also be walked on barefoot. This design is made of stainless steel and is suitable for use around swimming pools.
Steps and ladder rungs are also available using the Graepel-Perl embossment design.
