Graepel-Stabil Xtrem

Sheet metal profile grating

Characteristics

The edged contour of the Graepel-Stabil Xtrem has a C profile. The embossing is an increased version of Graepel-Stabil. The surface is characterized by 70 mm long, upward-facing, olive-shaped openings with a serrated edge. The profile height is 17 mm. The open cross-section is approx. 43 %; slightly less than Graepel-Stabil. Graepel-Stabil Xtrem is highly resistant. The grating is extremely slip-resistant, providing excellent drainage as well as a large displacement space. Due to the excellent dimensional stability, the width of the grating can be much wider than normal, and without any additional support. Embossment widths of up to 776 mm are possible.

Application

Graepel-Stabil Xtrem is recommended for use in areas with extreme on- and offshore weather conditions and adverse environmental circumstances. If there is rain or snow, or sediments, oil, grease, and lubricants are commonly found on the grating, walking on Graepel-Stabil Xtrem ensures perfect safety. For example, it is ideal for catwalks in lock gates, fish farms and boat docks, for maintenance platforms on cable cars, for wind turbines, or for inspection areas on oil rigs.
